The Brooks Hyperion MD is a bouncy and propulsive middle distance spike, that doesn't feel as aggressive as its competitors. Although it doesn't push you up on your toes a ton, you get a "catapult" feeling that springs you forward similar to the Nike Air Zoom Victory, although not as soft. This spike is great for 800 and 1500 meter runners although it doesn't feel quite aggressive enough for the 400. It was designed with Nia Akins of Brooks Beasts, a national champion in the 800m.
