I can’t begin to describe how disappointed I am that these didn’t work out.

For a size 14, I have a pretty narrow and low volume foot. NB hasn’t historically worked for me because the uppers are too big and my foot moves around too much. For some reason I thought these would be different, so I rolled the dice. Sadly, it’s the same story.

This FuelCell foam is AMAZING for my fellow heavy runners. I like it just as much as Lightstrike Pro. It’s fun and bouncy, has enough firmness to it to hold up to some power, zero complaints. The shoe itself isn’t super aggressive - so I see why it’s recommended for us average speed folk. I could see it as a race day shoe or even a long run shoe that involves some speed work.

I figured instead of trying to force it and deal with an upper that wasn’t perfect, I’ll pass them along to the next big dude to enjoy these beauties while they’re still as fresh as can be.
